Samuel Werberg is the Director of the Dubai Regional Media Hub and one of the U.S. Government’s principal Arabic-language spokespeople. He previously served in Egypt, Morocco, Iraq, Thailand, Kuwait, and the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs in Washington, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco. He holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hamilton College.
