28 FPC credentialed journalists from over 17 countries joined members of the FPC and ShareAmerica for a reporting tour where they had the opportunity to speak with voters, volunteers, and election officials at two polling places in Fairfax County, Virginia’s largest county. Journalists were able to gauge sentiment about the remaining Democratic candidates, learn about the U.S. voting process, and see civic engagement firsthand. The tour ended with a visit to the Fairfax County Government Center, where they held a Q&A session with director of elections and general registrar Gary Scott.
