The Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR) and FPC are pleased to offer an international reporting tour entitled “Energy Diversity” for 15 journalists traveling to the United States from the EAP and EUR regions.  The tour took place in Texas and Louisiana from September 8-13, 2019. This tour addresseed the importance of energy diversity and how a strong energy mix can strengthen national security.  The tour highlighted America’s above all energy policy which emphasizes energy diversification in supplies, sources and routes. Additionally, the tour demonstrated how private sector investment in energy technologies, including LNG and renewables, have led to America’s energy abundance.

This reporting tour addressed energy-related topics that include: energy diversity; America’s “above all energy strategy” which includes renewables, LNG, oil, and nuclear; and the tremendous technological expertise of American energy companies and how they have led America’s transformation into an energy exporter.  Participants were required to file a minimum of six (6) stories stemming from their experience on the tour.
