Delivering Data Governance

The Enterprise Data Council provides oversight and organizes efforts that increase the Department’s data analytics capacity, quality, and technical architecture. The EDC endorses, prioritizes, and accelerates the Department’s data strategy with corresponding policy and actionable objectives. Learn more about the EDC here.


M/SS provides reliable, actionable, and real-time air quality data through the Greening Diplomacy Initiative established environmental IoT in posts where local sources do not exist and collecting real-time data on post’s energy consumption enabling data-informed decisions.

Chief of Mission Authority
