On behalf of the United States Government, I want to wish President Abdelmadjid Tebboune a speedy and full recovery. President Tebboune is a friend of the United States, and our relationship is one that is based on mutual respect and shared commitment to regional stability and prosperity. U.S.-Algerian relations are longstanding, deep, and growing stronger, and we look forward to continuing to work with President Tebboune, his government, and the Algerian people.
